Paul Martin is the presenter of BBC TWO's Flog It where people bring their antiques and collectibles to be valued, and then sell them at auction. Paul was educated at Falmouth Grammar in Cornwall and studied art and woodwork at Falmouth College. He spent two years as a scenic painter on film sets at Pinewood Studios and then, from the age of 25, ran a pitch on Portobello Road market. He later worked as an antiques props stylist for magazines such as Marie Claire and New Woman and designed antique sets for television programmes such as The Clothes Show. Paul enjoys drumming and in the early Nineties played as a session musician for rock bands like The Choir Boys and the Dogs D'Amour. He still loves to play in local jazz and blues bands.He enjoys still life drawing and walking his dog Bluebell, but his passion is studying and restoring antique country furniture.
